Robin was our premier stallion, a 1991 black and white multiple registered Appaloosa stallion by the racing Appaloosa RHR Pappa Rock (3/4 TB) and out of the foundation mare Tade' Gleska ( by ApHC World champion jumper RH Ghengis Khan). He was 15.2 hands tall, but had the presence and feel of a larger horse, was solid boned with a smooth level topline and fluid movement. He was shown in hand at rated sport horse shows in dressage and hunter breeding classes, with scores from 60% to his high of 77% from Hilda Gurney, and at regional Appaloosa shows and the World Championships in dressage suitability where he was Reserve Champion in 1994. In 1998 he began showing in dressage where he was Reserve Champion training level-Open at his first show. He continued making progress, competing at the USDF Region 6 Championships (click for pictures) in 2001 and qualifying at first level (and nearly second level as well) in 2005, but missed much of the show season and the championships due to a trailer accident and my broken arm. He debuted at Third Level at the Idaho Dressage Festival in the spring of 2007, where we were third level Champion, adult amatuer, both days, but was retired from competition shortly after when he nearly died of peritonitis..
Robin has produced several foal crops, some of which are currently for sale, with 100% characteristic foals at birth (See photos '94-'96 foals , '97-2000 foals , '01 & '02 foals , '03 & '04 foals ,'05 & '06 foals, 2007 foals, or download a slide show). All of his foals have developed coloring, usually by their first birthday, including foals from Thoroughbreds, warmbloods and non-characteristic Appaloosas. He consistently out-produced himself, stamping his foals with his own elegant head and neck and fluid movement, and producing that wonderful "pocket pet" disposition. His foals of riding age are competing in dressage, eventing and hunter/jumpers. Notably, he has produced a bronze medallion winner in competive trail, USDF Region 6 Championship competitors, an Idaho State Horse of the Year in dressage, a reserve Idaho State Horse of the Year in Eventing, & ACAAP top ten finalaists.

Robin won second place ApHC Dressage Horse of the Year in 2000.

He also earned his ACAAP Certificate of Achievement in dressage in 2000 and his ACAAP Certificate of Superior Achievement in dressage in 2001.
